Eric Victor Powers

Mr. Powers serves as Technical Supervisor for Walt Disney Feature Animation located in Burbank, California.  He is currently assigned to the digital feature, "Chicken Little".  Mr. Powers formerly headed the embedded systems software group at Coollogic.  He was co-founder of OnChannel, acquired by Coollogic in November of 1999, and creator of Coollogic's embedded Linux operating system.  Mr. Powers is recognized for leading the development of fur dynamics and effects systems for Walt Disney Feature Animation films "Dinosaur" and "102 Dalmations". He also instructed software development courses through UCLA extension and contributes both his knowledge and creativity through the web site http://www.mrpowers.com, a repository of advanced technologies.
